User Experience for first time users of Splash Math

A competitive analysis was done to trigger questions and then based on the hypothesis, survey and parent interviews were conducted to validate them. As a last step, the interview findings were laid out in the form of an experience map to derive actionable insights. Design development began with broad level information architecture and first level visualization in the form of sketches which later translated into wireframes and user flow. For creating prototypes Adobe Xd and Marvel was extensively used. The major challenge was to keep the UI and interaction as simple as possible so that even 3 to 4 year old children could intuitively use it. The app was rolled out on iOS as well as a web version of the same was designed.
