Celeste’s brief was to design a spatial system for the jewellery exhibition IIJS Premier Show 2018 held in Mumbai. The show is positioned
as a high-end country jewellery show, where only selected exhibitors and international delegates are invited. The role was to design a premium experiential space, based on a unified design language to accommodate the needs of the brand, with the aim to create a memorable, contemporary experience for the international visitors. Keeping the existing graphics and spatial language in mind, the design process
was carried out, which included conceptualization, production supervision as well as final execution.
Keeping in mind the basic ideologies of ‘Reimagine’, ‘Reorganize’, ‘Declutter’ and ‘Inspire’, the concept of using tessellations was finalized, to help segregate the space into segments, which would enhance interaction between people. Celeste’s role in the execution involved taking care of multiple elements which were designed by the team based on three installations designed by her.
