Hamara Bagicha: A Bridal Collection for Women AW18

Pritam Singh

Amit Sinha

During the course of his project with Heritage, Pritam conceptualized and designed a bridal collection of digital prints for AW18. The scope of work included introduction of a new design language to create new motifs, digitally printed motif patterns and embroidery explorations for surface design. The process of design development included concept and ideation, color and fabric selection, silhouettes and designs creation, exploration and finalization
of sketches.

The design inspiration was ‘Hamara Bagicha’ - a bounty of peace, joy and tranquility with the power to create balance and harmony. Further stimulus came by absorbing fashion knowledge through runway trends, brands study and trend forecasts. Thereafter the design strategy was built and design ideas were combined to create the concept. After conceptualization and ideation, different prints were created. The final collection was developed from various techniques explored on fabrics and then implemented on the apparels.
