This graduation project explores the design of a four-wheeled lifestyle mobility vehicle that bridges accessibility and aspiration by combining inclusivity, aesthetics, and modular functionality. Conceived as more than a mobility aid, the vehicle supports independence, outdoor engagement, and everyday travel while challenging the perception of assistive products as purely utilitarian medical equipment. Concept Ekatra—meaning togetherness—reimagines mobility as a confident, enjoyable, and dignified experience. Designed for people with lower-limb amputations and elderly users, it offers stability, comfort, and adaptable modules to suit varied use cases, from daily movement to social and economic participation. By enabling users to move independently and with pride, the project promotes self-reliance, reduces dependency, and reframes mobility solutions as empowering lifestyle products, demonstrating how design can transform accessibility into freedom and aspiration.
