Kaziranga Floods - Waters of Change is a documentary film exploring the shifting landscapes and fragile ecologies of Kaziranga National Park, shaped by the recurring rhythms of the Brahmaputra River. In one of the world's most dynamic floodplains, the film treats water not just as a force, but as a narrator of memory and transformation. Through the voices of local communities, the documentary captures how nature remembers and rebuilds, viewing annual floods as vital processes for renewal rather than mere disasters. However, erratic climate patterns now threaten this balance, leading to the disappearance of grasslands and wetlands. The film meditates on the slow transformations of ecosystems, how water bodies vanish, displacing both wildlife and collective memory. Captured with a fluid, poetic structure, the work resists simple conclusions, instead offering a contemplative space to reflect on the enduring relationship between people and a landscape in a state of constant flux.
