Mr. Shemal Pandya
This project involved conceptualising the first retail store for a young fashion startup, with a focus on developing a strong spatial identity that communicates the brand’s values. The project emphasized visualisation and 3D modelling as key tools to translate the brand narrative into a physical retail environment. As a first engagement with commercial retail space design, equal importance was given to functionality alongside aesthetics, ensuring efficient circulation, display logic, and user experience. The project also drew on learnings from exhibition design, particularly in storytelling, spatial sequencing, and visual communication, which informed the overall retail concept. Working closely with the client introduced real-world design processes such as iterative feedback, revisions, and professional collaboration, contributing to a deeper understanding of industry workflows. The project served as an introduction to retail design within the fashion sector, combining creative exploration with practical constraints to deliver a cohesive and functional store concept.
