Grandévo explores the design of a luxurious flat-pack furniture piece that responds to the growing need for mobility, ease of transport, and space efficiency in contemporary living. The project focuses on reimagining flat-pack furniture beyond utility, positioning it within the luxury segment through refined form, material choice, and craftsmanship. The outcome is a residential swing that combines compact packaging and easy assembly with elegance and cultural relevance. The design process integrates modern manufacturing techniques such as CNC metal cutting and precision laser cutting, complemented by hand craftsmanship to achieve detailed finishes and structural integrity. Through market research, user analysis, and iterative prototyping, the project aims to bridge functionality and sophistication. Grandévo demonstrates how flat-pack furniture can be both technically efficient and emotionally aspirational, catering to modern lifestyles without compromising on luxury.
