The XL6 Personalization Project explores enhancing Maruti Suzuki XL6 ownership through vehicle personalization, addressing the growing demand for individual expression and lifestyle alignment. Extensive research—covering the Indian personalization market, MPV segment analysis, and field interviews with owners, showroom staff, and accessory dealers—identified gaps between OEM offerings and user expectations. Insights revealed opportunities to improve both functional and emotional experiences. Concept ideations, themed around “Regal Opulence” and “Toughened Luxury,” focused on accessories that enhance aesthetics, convenience, and utility while strengthening owner-vehicle connection. The project emphasizes designing solutions that reflect personal lifestyles, offer practical benefits, and are easy to adopt. Using 3D modeling, concepts were visualized as realistic, market-ready solutions. This work aims to deliver a more engaging, premium ownership experience, bridging the gap between user aspirations and feasible personalization options.
