This graduation project explores the future of emotionally intelligent avatars within Samsung’s Extended Reality (XR) ecosystem, responding to the growing relevance of spatial computing and immersive digital environments. As XR technologies become embedded in everyday workflows, the project investigates how avatars can move beyond entertainment and communication to assume meaningful, assistive roles. The proposed avatars are designed to be context-aware, emotionally responsive, and expressive, supporting users across productivity, collaboration, and well-being scenarios. By acting as supportive companions, these avatars aim to guide users through complex tasks, reduce interaction friction, and introduce moments of calm within immersive systems. The concepts emphasize natural interaction, emotional sensitivity, and cross-platform continuity, aligning with Samsung’s vision of user-centric innovation in XR. Overall, the project positions avatars as central agents in shaping more humanized, functional, and emotionally resonant digital experiences within future immersive ecosystems.
