This graduation project focuses on building the brand strategy and visual identity for Open MedLabs, a healthcare startup incubated at IISc Bangalore, and its flagship product InsuFlo, an affordable insulin pump designed for people with Type 1 diabetes in resource constrained settings. The process began with hands on product understanding and user interviews to build empathy and uncover real healthcare challenges. These insights shaped the brand architecture, naming approach, and a visual language that feels warm, clear, and supportive while maintaining medical credibility. The scope included identity design, packaging, app illustrations, user manuals, and UX and language improvements for accessibility. Developed through close collaboration with engineers, researchers, designers, and users, the outcome is a scalable, human centred brand system for InsuFlo and its accessories. The project reflects a design approach grounded in care, clarity, and empathy within sensitive healthcare contexts.
