This graduation project studies the everyday behaviours, pain points, and unmet needs of daily commuters using Electric Vehicle scooters in urban Indian contexts. Through interviews and on-road observations, the research identifies critical challenges related to storage, security, and riding comfort, particularly relevant to personal use and Last Mile Delivery scenarios. By deep diving into opportunity areas and uncovering root causes, the project builds an idea bank that translates insights into user centric, market ready scooter accessories. Each concept addresses real commuter needs while remaining scalable and practical. The insights strongly support platformization as a future strategy, proposing a modular ecosystem of interoperable accessories that enables personalization and customization based on user requirements. Overall, the project highlights the importance of primary research in authentic contexts and contributes to designing smarter, safer, and more adaptable mobility solutions for the evolving electric scooter ecosystem.
