This project focuses on the digital redesign of Shradheya Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Botanical Garden, Visapur, in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra. The objective was to strengthen the garden’s digital presence through a cohesive brand identity, an accessible website, and a companion mobile application that caters to diverse age groups while promoting environmental education and local culture. The project involved end-to-end research, strategy, and execution, including stakeholder interviews, field visits, and competitive benchmarking. A key challenge was aligning user needs with government-led systems through research-driven design thinking. The website and mobile app offer custom visitor itineraries, educational content, event and cultural promotion, interactive maps, and plant categorization, supported by responsive layouts and engaging micro-interactions. The outcome is a unified digital ecosystem that reflects the garden’s values of biodiversity conservation, cultural heritage, and community engagement through an integrated brand identity, website, and mobile application.
