This project seeks to reimagine the legendary Bangalore Music Strip of the 1980s as an open digital archive viewed through the lens of Digital Humanities. Public spaces are vital to a city's identity, and the Strip served as a vibrant incubator where musicians gathered to create, collaborate, and shape Bangalore’s legacy as the rock capital of India. As urban landscapes evolved, these organic musical exchanges dwindled, and the memory of this ecosystem faded into obscurity. This project aims to excavate and reconstruct this lost chapter through archival digitization, collaborative storytelling, and an open-access platform. Through a blend of archival fragments, abstract visuals, and ephemeral textures, this fictional illustration of Bangalore explores the fragility of memory and the way collective stories shift over time. By embracing diverse perspectives, the project ensures that these historical intricacies are preserved, allowing contemporary audiences to look back at the days that shaped today's musical culture.
