This project focuses on designing two Hindi publications for the National Institute of Design: Design Ke Prerna Strot and NID Ek Parichay. These books are Hindi adaptations of Leading Lights on Design: Edition III and 50 Years of the National Institute of Design 1961–2011, created to expand accessibility and cultural reach. Design Ke Prerna Strot compiles convocation lectures delivered at NID since 1979, presenting reflections on creativity, responsibility, and the societal role of design in Hindi. NID Ek Parichay documents the institute’s history, milestones, and contributions to design education in India. Beyond translation, the project involved typographic adaptation, layout restructuring, and visual design suited to the Devanagari script. The outcome supports inclusive design education and preserves institutional memory through regionally grounded visual communication.
