This project focuses on designing an offer discovery platform for Samsung Consumer Electronics that helps users find relevant deals available at offline retail stores. The objective was to bridge the gap between existing discount systems and user engagement, particularly among Gen Z users who often overlook such platforms due to low visibility, lack of trust, and weak emotional connection. Through primary user interviews, behavioural studies, and competitive benchmarking, the project identified emotion-led design as a key driver of engagement. The platform was structured around four emotional pillars—Gratitude, Pride, Satisfaction, and FOMO—translated into clear visual hierarchies, personalised interactions, and intuitive user flows. Executed during a live internship at Samsung R&D Institute, Bangalore, the project involved end-to-end ownership from research and concept development to interface design. The outcome is a scalable, context-aware platform that aligns user motivation with business goals through emotionally intelligent UX design.
