This sponsored graduation project, developed in collaboration with Maruti Suzuki India Ltd., explores the exterior design of Concept Alpha, a sub-compact electric SUV envisioned for future urban mobility. Grounded in a detailed study of Maruti Suzuki’s design philosophy, brand heritage, and iconic products, the project also examines emerging automotive trends and the evolving lifestyles of digitally driven urban users. The design process progressed through mood definition, thematic exploration, and abstract form studies, leading to iterative ideation and concept refinement. These stages helped establish a clear and distinctive design direction that balances innovation with brand continuity. The final concept presents Concept Alpha as more than a vehicle—it is positioned as a lifestyle enabler that supports contemporary modes of living, travel, and self-expression. By integrating youthful character, agility, and sustainability, the project reimagines a future-ready SUV aligned with Maruti Suzuki’s forward-looking vision.
