This project explores the design and development of an electric trike for last-mile connectivity and micro-mobility in urban India, addressing the need for sustainable, efficient, and affordable transport amid congestion and rising fuel costs. Research through field studies, stakeholder interviews, and policy analysis informed a modular vehicle design optimised for local manufacturing, customisation, and usability. Human factors, ergonomics, and safety were central to the design process, ensuring comfort and practical functionality. Detailed design documentation demonstrates the trike’s real-world applicability, while branding elements—including logo, colour palette, and identity—were developed to position the product for both recreational users and B2B delivery markets. The project envisions a cleaner, inclusive urban mobility ecosystem, providing a sustainable transport solution that empowers individuals and micro-entrepreneurs while supporting environmental and economic goals.
