This documentary project, in collaboration with the grassroots NGO Parivartan, highlights the work of marginalized communities in Bihar, with a focus on women’s empowerment. Parivartan’s initiatives span education, livelihoods, leadership, technology, and climate resilience, aiming for inclusive, locally driven transformation.

The project produced three films that document real stories of young rural women navigating socioeconomic challenges to redefine their lives. Beyond individual narratives, the films reflect Parivartan’s mission of grassroots-led change, capturing the intersection of gender, identity, and opportunity. Using a cinema vérité approach, the documentaries offer intimate, observational insights into resilience, ambition, and the transformative impact of community-driven development.
