This project explores lighting design through the creation of a custom solar light pipe for an upcoming arts museum in Baroda. The light pipe redirects natural light from the exterior into the interior, responding to the museum’s architecture while creating a dynamic visual and spatial experience for visitors. Functioning partly as a sundial, it also offers a subtle indication of time through the movement of light. Alongside this primary project, the document includes two additional lighting explorations. One is a luminaire inspired by the molecular structure of polyvinyl chloride, translating scientific form into a sculptural lighting object. The second is an interactive installation based on sound and light, developed using Chladni plates to visualize sound frequencies. Together, these projects investigate light as a medium, exploring its physical phenomena and conceptual potential through architectural, product, and experiential design applications.
