This project is a darkly satirical film that dissects the legacy of inter-regional weddings through the lens of generational trauma. The narrative centres on a mother now consumed by rage and grief, who views her own marriage twenty-five years ago as a casualty of systemic patriarchy. As she watches her daughters navigate their own lives, she becomes convinced that these same destructive patterns are resurfacing to threaten their happiness. Told from the perspective of one daughter, the story analyses the complex bond between three distinct women: the mother, the sister, and the narrator. By paralleling the mother’s past with the daughters' present, the film uses biting satire and raw emotion to explore how societal pressures and personal pain echo across time. Ultimately, it is a sharp commentary on the female experience and the gruelling effort required to break inherited cycles of suffering.
