The contemporary dining and retail landscape is rapidly evolving, with self-ordering kiosks increasingly adopted to improve customer experience and operational efficiency. However, many existing kiosks fail to meet current user expectations shaped by intuitive, personalized, and visually engaging smartphone interfaces. This project addresses this gap through deliberate UI/UX design interventions that extend beyond basic functionality. The objective is to design a fast, accessible, visually rich, and emotionally engaging kiosk interface capable of enabling a seamless 30-second checkout experience. Key design strategies include visual-first menus, progressive disclosure, predictive recommendations, multilingual support, and gamified micro-interactions. By focusing on a user-centered approach tailored to diverse customer needs, the project aims to streamline ordering, reduce hesitation, build user confidence, and create efficient yet memorable kiosk interactions aligned with modern consumer expectations.
