This graphic novel explores the resilient yet fragile world of Madhu, a single mother raising two sons, Adarsh and Mohan, in a rented home far from their father. As the sole provider, Madhu struggles to balance financial hardship with her dream of educating her children. While the boys sense the family's struggle, they remain hopeful, preparing to start school the next day. Their stability is shattered when the landlord demands they vacate within a month for renovations. Though Madhu shields her sons from the news, the impending displacement brings a quiet turmoil to their household. Through evocative illustrations, the story delves into the interconnected emotions of a family in crisis. It captures Madhu’s silent strength and the evolving mindset of Adarsh, a child forced to process a world shaped by scarcity and uncertainty.
