This project focuses on designing adaptable furniture systems for contemporary co-working spaces in response to evolving work cultures and collaboration patterns. The work was undertaken in collaboration with Naman In Store, a retail furniture design company based in Vasai, Maharashtra, with the intention of gaining exposure to mass-manufacturing processes. Coworking spaces have rapidly evolved from conventional office workstations to flexible, multipurpose environments that support focused work, collaboration, and informal interaction. While these spaces increasingly embrace mobility, mouldability, and digital integration, furniture often remains static and functions as a passive element rather than an enabler of productivity and comfort. This project addresses this gap by exploring furniture that is not only aesthetically refined but also ergonomic, functional, and adaptable to diverse user needs. The outcome proposes mass-manufacturable furniture solutions using high-end hardware and fittings, designed to respond to varied work styles within contemporary co-working environments.
