The Peacock Series is a bespoke furniture collection developed for Inhabit Design Studio’s Bespoke Series, inspired by the peacock as both a visual metaphor and a symbolic extension of the brand’s identity. Known for its maximalist aesthetic and inventive material expression, Inhabit provided the context to translate this inspiration into a refined design direction. Rather than literal imitation, the peacock’s iridescence, grace, and regality were abstracted through form, surface treatment, and carefully curated materials. The project aimed to balance innovation with brand continuity, ensuring the collection felt both fresh and authentic to the studio’s ethos. The outcome comprises three furniture pieces and a custom surface print: an accent floor lamp, an accent chair, and a four-seater dining table. Together, the pieces form a cohesive, narrative-driven collection that channels artistic luxury while remaining functional, expressive, and distinctly aligned with Inhabit Studio’s bespoke design language.
