This project brings together tradition and technology in textile design through two Chanderi dupatta collections. The first collection was created using traditional tools using manual method , inspired by the cultural stories and motifs of Chanderi. The second collection used artificial intelligence in the designers workflow to transform these ideas into elegant designs with more ease and efficiency. The work celebrates today’s working women by blending classic handwoven craftsmanship with fresh, contemporary styles. The designs highlight resilience, grace, and versatility, making them suitable for both festive occasions and everyday wear. Along with designing, the project also explored the full workflow from research and motif creation to sampling and testing new production possibilities. By combining traditional practices with AI tools, the project shows how innovation can protect heritage while making it relevant to modern lifestyles.
