My graduation project at Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL), a leader in fashion retail with brands like Van Heusen and Louis Philippe, focused on concept development and print design. The project had two objectives: first, to explore gaps in the casual wear segment through consumer insights, lifestyle trends, and brand analysis, identifying opportunities for innovation in contemporary fashion; second, to create a print design collection for Van Heusen Evening, emphasizing sophistication and modern elegance. Through extensive research, market studies, and visual storytelling, I translated findings into creative yet commercially viable design solutions. This process honed my ability to balance functionality with innovation, engage with diverse fashion segments, and approach design strategically. The experience strengthened my understanding of industry driven processes and reinforced my skills as a textile and fashion designer.
