Observability Next is a graduation project conducted at Intuit that re-envisions how observability within a developer ecosystem can evolve from a reactive monitoring tool into a proactive, resilient capability. The project aims to reduce cognitive load, streamline workflows, and make intricate systems more approachable for developers. It proposes a holistic, integrated approach within the Developer Portal that combines change management, incident prevention, and transparency to create a unified, developer-friendly environment. Looking beyond immediate technical fixes, the project applies a speculative design lens to envision the future of system monitoring.
