This graduation project focused on improving the customer experience of AOS Storage management at Nutanix, a global provider of enterprise cloud software. Nutanix’s AOS Storage supports complex, multi-entity environments, yet administrators often face fragmented visibility, monitoring inefficiencies, and challenges in capacity management and troubleshooting. Through customer interviews and secondary research, key pain points were identified around understanding storage topology, predicting capacity exhaustion, interpreting alerts, locating faulty entities, and identifying corrective actions. The project aimed to address these challenges by visualizing the complete storage stack through intuitive topological views and designing a centralized AOS storage dashboard. The design process involved stakeholder interviews, competitive analysis, concept generation, topological ideation, and detailed workflow design. The final outcome delivered strategic recommendations and interface concepts that unified monitoring and management, reduced operational complexity, and empowered administrators with clearer insights, improved control, and faster decision-making within Nutanix AOS storage environments.
