This graduation thesis explores the application of artificial intelligence to enhance user experience within the Nutanix Cloud Manager (NCM), addressing the challenges diverse user groups face when navigating complex cloud management systems. Over a six-month design process, the research examined opportunities across four core functional areas: Cost Governance, Security Central, Intelligent Operations, and Self Service. Guided by the question of how AI can better support varied user profiles, the study investigated AI-driven personalization, conversational interfaces, contextual assistance, and workflow optimization. The proposed solutions leverage machine learning, natural language processing, and intelligent guidance, primarily supporting IT administrators. This approach shifts interaction from working on the system to working with it, reducing technical barriers, flattening learning curves, and bridging gaps between modular architecture and holistic information needs. The research establishes a scalable foundation for future AI applications across the broader Nutanix ecosystem.
