This graduation project focuses on designing a community module for Ikshana, a mobile health application aimed at improving pelvic floor health in women. Conducted in collaboration with Periwinkle Labs and the Indian Institute of Science, the project addresses stigma, misinformation, and emotional isolation surrounding pelvic health conditions such as urinary incontinence. Primary research with affected women and consultations with healthcare professionals revealed gaps in accessible information, emotional support, and sustained motivation. The design solution focused on creating a safe digital space for peer connection, expert guidance, and approachable introduction to Kegel exercises. Key features include educational resources, progress tracking, emotional support mechanisms, and expert-led discussions. The project culminated in a cohesive visual identity, branding guidelines, and a scalable design system. Overall, the solution promotes empathy-driven engagement, reduces stigma, and encourages positive behavioral change through community-led digital health design.
