This graduation project was conducted as part of a six-month internship at UiPath and focused on redesigning the homepage and access management system for Communication Mining, an AI-driven product that extracts insights from unstructured communication data. The objective was to enhance usability, streamline role-based access control, and align the experience with UiPath’s broader product ecosystem. The project spanned the complete design lifecycle, including secondary research, heuristic evaluation, competitive analysis, insight synthesis, information architecture restructuring, user flow design, wireframing, high-fidelity mockups, prototyping, usability testing, developer handoff, and post-development bug resolution. Through close collaboration with cross-functional teams, a new version of Communication Mining was delivered. The outcome included a clearer, journey-aware homepage and a simplified access management experience, supported by detailed documentation, reinforcing user-centered design, systems thinking, and enterprise collaboration.
