This project addresses usability gaps so as to meet the company goals of engaging the users more proactively with automation routines and energy consumption analytics features of the application in their daily life. The solution offers an added value experience to engage the users with convenient functionality, emotional connect and play. The design leverages the convenience and offerings of smartwatch as a personal companion for quick access, glanceable information of home wellness & security, simplified voice-based automation overriding capability, and timely actionable probes to optimize their efficiency scores. Using agile methodologies, user research, and iterative design, the app will offer an intuitive, efficient, and proactive smart home experience.
