Burning Roots, Blooming Fire is a poignant narrative set in a village where ancestral spirits once nurtured the land, fostering harmony and healing during the harvest season. This sacred balance is disrupted when external forces seize the village’s groves and suppress the red flowers that signify the presence of ancestors. Amid this upheaval, young Aami courageously enters the forbidden Neeliyar Kottam, the last standing sacred grove, uncovering the red flowers and reigniting hope. Her defiance sparks a chain of events that confront oppressive powers and strive to reclaim the village’s spiritual heritage. The film is an exploration of cultural preservation, resistance, and the enduring power of ancestral connections.
