This graduation project focuses on designing Traffic Sense, an internal analytics platform envisioned for Walmart Global Tech. The project addressed fragmented e-commerce traffic data spread across multiple dashboards, which caused duplicated views, inconsistent metrics, and inefficient analysis workflows. Primary users included financial analysts and marketing analysts, each requiring role-specific yet reliable access to traffic insights. The proposed solution consolidated all traffic-related metrics into a single source of truth, structured through persona-based views accessible via a unified navigation system. Familiar visualization formats were retained to support onboarding and align with existing mental models. The platform also introduced standardized report templates and embedded anomaly thresholds to trigger proactive alerts when metrics deviated. Beyond improving usability and clarity, Traffic Sense was envisioned as an in-house solution to reduce reliance on third-party tools, lowering infrastructure costs. Overall, the project demonstrates how thoughtful UX design can streamline enterprise analytics, reduce analysis time, and enable faster, more aligned decision-making.
