TINTE WUNDER: The Print Rugs is a graduation project undertaken at Welspun Living Ltd., Mumbai, focusing on the printed area rug segment for UK and European markets. The project involved designing two collections—one for adults and one for children—for Autumn–Winter 2025–26 and Spring–Summer 2026. The adult collection, The Rawer, was informed by WGSN trend forecasts and the concept of Terra Forms, drawing inspiration from organic textures such as bark, fungi, and cracked earth to create tactile, nature-driven designs. The children’s collection, Little Buzzers, was inspired by the Manchester Bee, translating themes of resilience and community into playful, narrative-led motifs. Developed through a combination of hand and digital techniques, the collection was refined based on client feedback and market requirements. The project provided end-to-end exposure to trend research, concept development, sampling, and commercial product development within an export-oriented context.
