Supergudiya is a short film about Jyoti, a schoolteacher weighed down by loneliness after surviving an abusive marriage and the loss of her daughter. Her routine-bound life shifts when she meets Durga, a fearless 9-year-old student who lives with domestic violence at home due to her alcoholic father. Despite this, Durga dreams of becoming a police officer to protect her mother, embodying a courage Jyoti never allowed herself.

An unspoken bond forms between the two. When Durga suddenly stops attending school, Jyoti searches for her and confronts the harsh reality of the child’s home. At a breaking point, Durga’s mother finally stands up to her abuser, choosing protection over fear. In the closing moment, Durga gifts Jyoti a handmade superhero doll, Supergudiya, symbolizing strength, hope, and femininity. Through Durga, Jyoti rediscovers her own resilience and begins to reclaim her life.
