This graduation project explores self-care through the design of a gender-neutral skincare product, driven by a personal belief in wellbeing and informed by evolving Gen Z values. Although initially envisioned as gender-fluid, user research and interviews revealed gender neutrality as a more inclusive and balanced approach, shaping decisions around form, colour, material, and finish. The objective was to design a product that feels emotionally resonant, inclusive, and suitable for everyday use. The process involved hands-on CMF exploration, collaboration with local vendors for colour matching, internal surveys for material and finish feedback, and iterative development through CAD models, handmade prototypes, and production-ready samples. Research also examined the emotional and cultural impact of colour, texture, and material associations with gender. The outcome is a thoughtfully crafted product experience that goes beyond functionality, fostering emotional connection, inclusivity, and long-term relevance. The project emphasizes emotional durability as a key factor in meaningful, user-centered product design.
