This graduation project explores how trend forecasting and CMF (Color, Material, Finish) design can redefine the aesthetic identity of the TVS Ronin, positioned within the modern classic lifestyle segment. As younger, experience-driven consumers enter the motorcycle market, CMF emerges as a strategic tool to create distinctive, future-relevant product identities. The project examined emerging cultural shifts, technological advancements, and sustainability-driven movements shaping the future of two-wheelers. A PESTLE analysis provided insight into socio-economic factors influencing rider preferences across Indian and global markets. Based on these insights, user personas were developed to represent diverse rider lifestyles and aspirations. Three distinct CMF themes were created, each comprising curated color palettes, material selections, and tactile finishes that balance nostalgia with contemporary expression. These themes were visualized on the TVS Ronin to demonstrate the impact of CMF interventions on product character, brand perception, and market relevance, highlighting CMF’s role as a critical driver in large-scale product development.
