This graduation project explores the role of Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) design in shaping sustainable and emotionally resonant electric two-wheelers within India’s rapidly growing EV ecosystem. Aligned with India’s net-zero ambitions, the study focuses on the CMF strategy for the Ampere NXG, targeting urban users aged 25–35. Using a user-centered design approach, the research employed cultural probes, STEEP analysis, and field studies to understand color psychology, lifestyle aspirations, and mobility behaviors. Generational patterns, Practical Elegance, Refined Chic, and Avant Garde, helped contextualize CMF preferences across age groups. Based on these insights, accessories such as seat covers, grips, foot mats, and decals were designed with attention to sustainability, usability, and manufacturability. CMF themes including Indo Futurism, Intergalactic, and Terra Symphony guided aesthetic exploration, while life-cycle analysis and stakeholder collaboration ensured feasibility. The project demonstrates how CMF extends beyond aesthetics to drive emotional connection, cultural relevance, and environmentally responsible mobility choices.
