Thamara Sangrah is a ceramic tableware collection developed in collaboration with The Purple Turtles, inspired by nature, everyday rituals, and the idea of slow, meaningful living. The collection blends functional utility with expressive nature inspired illustration, aiming to create pieces that feel grounded, warm, and familiar. The project began with a research-driven exploration into the visual identity, customer base, and ethos of both brands. This was paired with studies on dining habits, material behaviour, and ceramic processes to inform the design direction. The collection balances handcrafted detail with production feasibility, developed through iterative prototyping and close coordination with ceramic vendors. Beyond aesthetics, Thamara Sangrah reflects a commitment to craft and context, designed to live beautifully in homes while telling a quiet, tactile story. It is both a functional tableware range and a reflection of contemporary Indian sensibilities, where tradition and modernity coexist in everyday design.
