This project aims at exploring design opportunities for pilots in a cockpit environment with the help of next generation technologies. It begins with the understanding of cockpit environment, activities carried out by pilots, trends in technologies surging in the domain of multimodal interactions and wearable technologies. Research methods like activity mapping, user interviews and contextual enquiry were carried out to identify areas of design intervention to improve efficiency and information access for pilots. This project concluded with a simulated prototype of a portable device which connects pilots with information from any location.
