The main aim of the project was to design and develop a collection of lighting using wood, keeping in mind the feel of the brand, yet creating something unique and contemporary. This project ‘Labyrint - A Light Collection’ was inspired by maze puzzles, where two dimensional patterns are used to create a three dimensional effect in space. Exploratory forms were made with this in mind, where patterns were used to visualise and direct light and shadow. The product targets people who have a liking for both traditional and contemporary design.
