The story is centred on the theme of companionship: What a companion means to us, what we do to keep others in our company, and what we do to avoid company. It also explores how the simplest pleasures of our life connect us to our long lasting memories. When our protagonist, the old man gets bored of training his dog, he decides to improvise and make him chase a paperplane, as he sits down on the park bench for an evening nap. He slips into a nostalgic dream about him and his real playmate-the paperplane, only to wake up to find his dogwith a high-tech remote control plane in his mouth.
