This project hopes to address some of the ideas of politics as well as the socialist history of Kerala, while also looking at the land and the geographical space where it emerged. In essence, the project does not aim to come to a specific conclusion about the political situation in Kerala. Rather it hopes to look at the stories along the way that have brought the land to the present. As Kerala is a place that is at once primeval and modern, hidden and ever present, the body of work also flows in that manner. The photographer has tried to weave a story that is both political and human.
