The objective was to create a photo narrative that would showcase the rich traditional and cultural heritage of the North East region of India. This visual narrative at the same time also aimed to highlight the identity and cultural assimilation of the people in the region. This document will act as a resource for future research and study and help in creating awareness about the region. The overall process involved literature review, photographer and photo work review. In addition to these, focus group discussions and brainstorming sessions were conducted to get an understanding of the perception of people about the North Eastern region of India.
