The project involved conducting research on the history of Jaipur, of block printing and of the market, and then analysing this research to start building a collection that would be appreciated in the market. The collection was inspired by the city of Jaipur; the garments reflect the architecture, motifs and essence of the city through its silhouettes and the age-old technique of block printing. The brief of the project was to design a collection of six themes all inspired by the city of Jaipur, all the six consist of five garments each. Each garment in the collection has a unique style and reflects the theme in its own distinctive way.
