The graduation film has a social relevance. It talks about dispelling myths and taboos related to menstruation in our country. The film has been made with the objective of becoming a visual communication tool that can be used as an aid in conducting workshops in schools, spreading awareness on social media in a simple and sensitive manner and helping in physical as well as physiological development of a girl entering puberty. The film is based on an original Marathi poem and has the social setting of a village in Maharashtra.
