The film was based on the short story 'Rosikutty' by Kamala Das. It revolved around a conventional family in Kerala. Naïve at first towards arranged marriage, Rosikutty, the protagonist only looks at the superficial side or rather the wedding instead of what it was; a marriage. Unfortunately, her maid began to put vicious thoughts about what it’s all about. Rosikutty left troubled and turned to her father for advice. This project attempted to put forth a message to the audience about how stereotypes and norms need to be more flexible.
