This project deals with the concept of a modular system bed which fulfils the needs of a middle class family in India. Keeping in mind the want of space, looks and accessibility, an idea for a user friendly bed with add ons was conceptualised. The want of an economic and practical bed along with the confluence of ideas led to the concept of a simple bed which is user friendly with an appealing design, detachable add on components and an easy to assemble unit. As the final product the modular system bed was designed and assembled using readily available raw materials native to the region.
