Arvind Denim Lab’s design team decided on a mother theme of the season, ‘Disrupt to Innovate’. It included various concepts and scenarios, which could have been interpreted differently by each designer of the team. Two aspects of research were considered simultaneously, one being the brand study and the second being the trend forecast. Developed concepts were to be innovative along with being commercially viable. The goal was to achieve the signature look of brands by giving them the newness of trends. Keeping all this in mind, a ready to wear collection and a conceptual collection for Spring/ Summer 2016 was conceived.
